Ray Knaub’s paintings show a sensitivity and respect for the landscapes he has interpreted over a long and successful career. Fields, pastures, and meadows of the Great Plains have given Knaub an abundance of resources for inspiration.
One of his major touring shows in 1999 was called "The Great American Prairie," and featured forty large-scale landscapes. He also wrote a book to go with the exhibition.
