Jennie Haddad (1906-1996) was born in Lebanon and immigrated to the United States in 1912.
Haddad enrolled at the Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas in the early 1950s where she studied painting with Otis Dozier before moving to New York to study with Hans Hoffman in 1956. The artist also studied at the Art Students League in Woodstock, NY and the Academy De Chamyere in Paris, France. She was awarded the Houston Museum Award in 1957 and exhibited her works nationally throughout her career.
