Albert Moulton Foweraker (1873-1942) was an English watercolorist born in Exeter, England. Prior to making art his primary career he received a degree in applied science and worked as an engineer and journalist. In 1902 the Royal Society of British Artists admitted him as a member and he went on to exhibit throughout London and other provincial galleries throughout England. His fasciniation with the effect of natural light on its environment, moonlight in particular, is seen throughout his paintings of the landscapes and towns he lived in and visited during his lifetime.
