Born in Lucerne, Switzerland in 1952 Michael Wyss moved to Berlin in 1974 to pursue undergraduate studies at the Berlin School of Art. Studying sacred images of saints in Baroque churches was the beginning of his becoming a figurative artist.
Numerous exhibitoins in Zurich have included his work. Writing is another creative outlet that he pursues. He continues to work primarily in Switzerland.
