Charles Schorre was born in Cuero, Texas in 1925. He served in the Marine Corp and then went on to receive his BFA from the University of Texas. He married, then moved to Houston and worked as an illustrator for an advertising firm.
His art received critical acclaim, which lead to numerous exhibitions. He was an accomplished graphic artist as well as fine artist and received numerous awards and accolades for both disciplines.
